The American Solar Energy Society (ASES) is one of ISES' national chapters. Also established in 1954, ASES is the nation's leading association of solar professionals and advocates. Its mission to "inspire an era of energy innovation and speed the transition to a sustainable energy economy" and "advance education, research and policy" (ref.) aligns perfectly with that of one of its chapter members, the Alabama Solar Association. With similar objectives focused at the State level, the Alabama Solar Association (ASA) seeks to educate itself, the public, corporations, policy makers, and governments about the tremendous opportunities and rewards in utilizing the sun's renewable energy. We are pleased with our current growth, but we still need lots of help getting our message out to everyone in Alabama. Please join and volunteer for vacant positions.
